The hub in the middle of everywhere

2TX sits close enough to the middle of Texas that a short hop puts you within reach of most of the state — and a lot of the country besides. Owners keep aircraft in hangars attached to their own homes, with direct taxiway access to a 3,494 foot asphalt runway.

It’s an uncontrolled field, VFR only, run by the people who live here. That means the community itself — board meetings, lot decisions, runway upkeep — is where the real work happens.

Board meetings

Held the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7 PM in Unit 26. These aren’t mandatory, but every owner is welcome to attend and hear what the board’s working on.

ANNUAL

Property owners' meeting

Required at least once a year, typically held in May. Every owner should attend in person or send a proxy — dates are posted here and on Facebook as soon as they’re set.
